    • I think Fury is being a bit harsh on himself. If you lose it don t mean you are exposed. You then improve yourself. If haye beats you its a wake up call. The Fury who gets in the ring with haye isn't neccesarily the finished article yet. Just cos you train hard, a loss will help you train hard and smarter.

I don't doubt that Fury trains as hard as he thinks he can right now. But a loss will show Fury hes not as good as thought he was,but he can then go on to become that man he thought he was.
Its almost as Fury thinks he will retire if his zero goes.

It might well be true. As I linked above, Fury is a depressive. He comes across as a larger than life guy in public but behind the scenes he is prone to suicidal thoughts. I'd say a knockout loss could hit him hard mentally, much like it did Ricky Hatton.

I took it as if he's being a bit ironic. "put me out of my misery" - I thought that was hinting towards him saying he was the greatest and all that. He won't retire if he loses. He knows there's a big chance he'll lose this fight, but for £5million he's set for life. Hell, I would take a shot at Haye for £5m.

Anyways, I think he just sounds realistic. And I like it much more than the bravado Fury who says he's the best of all times. I'm actually beginning to become a fan. Weird feeling.

            Never thought that would happen.

I don't think so at all. Ricky is a much more sensitive character. Fury is also sensitive, but not in the same way I think.

That being said, I've gotten the feeling lately, that he's taken this fight a bit too soon. Haye is looking in serious condition. But so is Fury actually, and his sparring partners have said he's looking great.

Behind all the talk, Fury's the good guy here.

He certainly appears more vulnerable than his father. "I know I've got nothing to be upset about," Fury says. "I'm British and Commonwealth champion, I'm doing OK. I've got a few quid in the bank. I shouldn't be upset. But I don't feel I've done any good at all. I thought when the children were born it would be a top thing. And when I became English champion I thought there'd be a great feeling – but no. I thought it must be because it's not big enough. Let me win the British title. But after I took that off Chisora there was nothing. At the end of the day what have I done? I've beaten another man up in a fight. I dunno what I want out of life, me. What's the point of it all?"

We talk about his wife, and children, while they sit around us. Trying to sound like a sage old soul I suggest that beyond his immediate family, there are always touching or amusing or interesting or stimulating moments in life. He is still young and his bleak perspective might become more rounded. "No," he says. "I don't think it's ever going to change. I can just see it going crazy. One loss in the ring and it's all over. So it's very serious. I know it could be all over every time I step into the ring."

Fury, despite being incredibly limited, is a better all-round boxer than Ricky; he could come back from a KO loss. All Ricky had going for him was punch resistance. His discipline and punch selection ******.

Fury should be confident. IF he gets Haye into the second half of the fight, he stands an excellent chance of scoring a stoppage.
