Does anyone feel that this fight will be completely different from Haye's previous fights against Valuev and Klitschko?
Tyson Fury might be a little bit clumsy at times but he brings an excellent variety of punches, has a decent inside game and isn't slow. Still he is a little bit overrated by some. BUT, Tyson Fury is extremely motivated. I still believe that he may get a little bit scared and anxious on the fight night.
Haye doesn't seem to be as motivated as before. Maybe he tries to give this image. He is definitely underrating Fury. He will have to be in great shape and mentally prepared to overcome Fury's assaults from the outside as well as from the inside.
I think that, despite both training camps' development, the mentally tougher and the more willing boxer will win this fight. What do you think?
PS: I used to be backing Haye ( because I wanted to see a V.K vs Haye fight) but I think that however the outcome it will be great for heavyweight boxing. As we might have Fury vs W.K / Povetkin or Haye vs V.K in 2014Comment

David Haye was NEVER motivated against Wladimir. He just tricked everyone.
Could Haye have knocked out Wladimir if he had the heart of a Holyfield? Possibly.. deifnitely would have been a better fight. But the truth of the matter was.. David Haye decided to test Wlad's glass chin for a total of maybe 3 minutes and the rest of the time he just ran around. He never had the intention of going to war.
The only time he got brave was in the 12th round and that was the riskiest moment for Wlad. To be fair to Haye.. Wladimir NEVER had the intention of going for the knock out either. Both men were cautious of each other's power and both conned the public to a great extent.
Fury vs Haye on the other hand is completely different in that Haye appear to be motivated after the Chisora Ko (as in he wants a Vitali pay day later on down the line) Fury does not have the power of Wlad either.. and as shocking as this sounds.. I think Fury actually got a worst chin than Wlad despite not having been kayoed yet. Haye by vicious KO Rounds 2-6... and it's not because Haye is great.. it's simply because Fury is only slightly above average.Comment

He may have tested Wlad in the 3rd and 12th round but if he did that during the whole fight , I think that there would be a 80% chance that he got knocked out cold.
Relating it to the Fury fight, I dont think that Haye has the style to go into a war. He definitely has a decent chance to win by knockout. But he will have to be very accurate and stay away from the ropes as Fury throws very long hooks.
Also, I wasn't very impressed by David Haye's performance against Chisora. Haye definitely won the fight, but he could have been knocked out also! Fury is a bigger Chisora, in the sense that he is a pressure fighter, that has more skills and throws a better variety of punches.
Nevertheless, a determined Haye has more chance of winning the fight.
As I said before, if both fighters go into a boxing match, we will be shocked. If both fighter go into a war, we will be even more shocked. Still the better tactician on the night will win the fight.Comment
