    Is Arum really this lazy?

I feel like Arum has been really lazy at doing his job lately. He doesn't seem to want to work. He just puts two exciting fighters in there and the fight will sell itself. Now I understand there are going to be fighters that are harder to sell than others, but that's where he should do his job. Promote, a**hole. Boxing was never meant to be about one style. It's the diversity of different styles that make boxing so intriguing and anticipating. Why should a 100 year old sport change for one person because he doesn't want to do his job? Can you imagine going into work and saying "I'm not doing that. It looks hard."? My boss would flip **** and rightfully so.

I don't it's him being lazy but it's just Arum being OLD. The problem is that he doesn't want to leave his spot to Todd DuBoef. He gets ripped a lot on here and deservedly so but a lot of people forget is that he made A LOT of superfights in the 80s.

I get it. But boxers are evolving now. There's going to be a lot of "smarter" boxers in the future. He needs to evolve with the sport and adapt. This applies to not just sports but in any business. If he's too old to do his job, then retire. He's made enough money. Everywhere I worked, the philosophy was, if you can't do your job, then quit.
