I don't know how long it will take fans to realize where this promotion rivalry is headed...and network rivalry! Basically, we have the GBP champ and the TR champ...in 1000 weight classes...and 100 boxing organizations.

Nobody works with Top Rank. I can count on one hand the times TR did a dual promotion with GB or any other big outfit. It not just because of Floyd. Hell Floyd was with them for 11 years. It was already a problem when he was with TR.

Top Rank did a big promotion with Dibella last year with Chavez-Martinez. Also I don't think Ruslan is with TOP Rank but I could be wrong. Goosen, Dibella, and Top Rank are all on HBO and Main Events will soon be. What is the only promotional company doing business on Showtime? And when is the last time Golden Boy co- promoted a fight?
