I heard he was returning in September (no opponent named).

I barely care who, either. He just needs to get back in the ring, he's wasting prime years away.

September? Canelo vs Floyd is in September. That makes no sense at all.

Unless GGG fights Chavez Jr or Kid Chocolate there is no reason to stay at 160 fighting tomato cans.
Ward needs a tune up first.
Froch already called GGG, but this means going up at 168.
Quillin doesn't look so eager to fight Golovkin soon... While Chavez Jr. also has a tune up (at 165?)... Martinez seems far away...
GGG is in a delicate position: he should move up at 168, but a small super middleweight (like he is) might encounter tough opposition there...

Ward is covered by mystery. It would be a tune up fight.

I thought HBO was trying to make this dude a star? Well there doing a ****ty job. But hey selling out your fights in Oakland is a nice living. Even if it doesn't lead to stardom.

What Ward said is true enough, just look at how Rosado was able to hit him at will. He has good head movement but its not consistent enough. Quite honestly he was developed to be an attacking brawler and that's exactly what he is. I'd rather watch him scrap with Chavez over Ward. People will only criticize how Ward would fight him and say he was running and holding and so on. True boxers get no love from today's "hardcore fight fans."

Then he should move up to 168 for Froch. His purse for Macklin was 3 hundo. I remember the threads from people all outraged that he was making that little. GGG is already 31 and should be on that Rigo (fast track) plan. GGG vs Froch in Wembly is a freakin homerun. His end could be 3 to 4 mil easy.

                      I wouldn't call Ward "a dude"...
He's a fine athlete and a very intelligent fighter.
But because of his twisted style he's exposed to serial injuries.
