    Legitimate excuses

Many fans belived manny had too many excuses during the first fight, and as a pacfan of course i believed that those were true. But can't ignore the fact that morales clearly won the first fight and i can't prove if it were really signifcant.

With "The Batte" in the bag and Manny scoring a convincing win over Erik, I am more lead to believe that those excuses were legitimate and those excuses played big against manny in the first fight. I am not taking anything from the win of erik but i say he did not beat the best pacman.

Same goes for morales here, he and his fans belive it is because of the wars that he has been into that made his body give up in this fight. Right now, IMO I am not buying it. If he goes back to the ring and makes a convincing comeback (like barrera did to him in their last fight), then the excuse is not real.

As for manny, he proved to most of us that he was distracted during the first fight. So many mistakes were made and cost him the fight.

    IMO, those were legitimate excuses

You can't have it both ways. If you want to say Pac wasn't focused, talk about the gloves, training, diet, whatever that's fine... but then you cant talk like this is a prime Morales from 3 years ago as he clearly wasn't in top form or physical condition last night.

personaly i think he was focused on the first fight. the gloves did play a big part tho but mostly the reason he won the rematch is because he worked trinned and earned his victory

I was at their 1st fight and after the fight was over, I was talking to quite a few pinoy fans and even some members of Pacquiao's camp. The worst buzz going around was apparently there was several viles of blood taken from Manny 24 hours before the fight because the NSAC lost his original blood work. This wasn't talked about in the press, but it was all the buzz at the MGM the day of the fight.

Aside from that, I think Murad Muhammad really was a distraction to Manny with all the things he'd done. I saw Muhammad at the MGM several times leading up to the fight and he was always with a group of 20 thug-ish looking ****** dudes that were huge. It was a scary group he had.

When you add those two problems to the gloves issue (which with the way Morales' face looked last night) you can draw your own conclusions.

Ultimatly, Morales knew last night that which Manny knew before their 1st fight: They'd be going into the ring with a great fighter, and they sure as hell better be ready. In that regard, they both don't have a lot of room for excuses.

i believe that the weight factor is real for morales and IMHO its not an excuse but a valid factor ...

and maybe we could also add the gloves factor, PAC said that EM did not really hurt him during this fight and PAC ALSO got hit a lot of times by Erik ...

so I am in for a third fight, maybe not now but not i a too distant future ...

it works both ways IMO... when he beat manny cearly during the first fight, everybody rebuked the thought of morales' as a diminished fighter and that he was going down in his career... and now he lost twice in a row, fans say he's going down in terms of desire and a lot of things...

Yes he can and he solidified his argument with an absolute result.

                KO for PAC.

yes, i agree with this... weight factor is a problem of erik ever since so i'll give that to him...

if the third fight is not happening this year, i doubt it will happen again... as he said, he doubts if he can make 130 again...

a lot of us PACFANS believed before the fight that EM can be koed, more so, when we saw the the pre fight prescon and the weigh-in, Em was so thin and light, he looked very vulnerable..

EM gotta make up his mind what weight to fight, if he maintianed his weight well during his rest period after this fight, i dont think it will be too hard for him to fight at 130 ...
