    Mile High deserves it..

Berto making a Mil guaranteed each fight and he's huff as hell..Mike Alvarado gave us back to back wars against Rios and always lays it all out in the ring..give the man 1.25mil I'm sure he'll seat quite a few in Colorado and HBO's ratings should be decent if they promote it a bit

Feel bad for Alvarado, hard to accept seeing the champ receive less for his next fight than the person he just beat (Rios). Wonder if he also feels like he should be the one fighting Pac?

He deserves to get paid, a fighter with his stlye puts their career on the line each time they step in the ring. If he stands his ground and passes on this fight it shouldn't be considered it a duck.

It sounds like Rios was over paid. Few fighters are making over a million a fight. How much is the Russian supposed to get for fighting Alvarado in his home town? Berto used to get a million or better every fight and I never could understand why he got paid so well. GGG is a hell of a fighter and he gets a small fraction of what Rios got.I have trouble understanding why some fighters get paid so much and other better, more fan friendly fighters get paid so little.

As much as I agree with this post, from a business stand point(which HBO will approach this from)Mike does not commend this kinda money(not yet anyway)..Not that accomplished and not a big draw..I believe 700 to 800K is more then fair tbh..A mill is very(very)generous,1.25mill won't happen bro..

Im thinking $750,000. Still cant believe GGG only made $350,000 for his last fight. He better get at least 500k in his next fight.

Why can't you believe this??3G is still young bro,HBO has made mistakes in the past over paying fighters too early in their careers..Just look at Berto,I'm not saying 3G is like Berto..I'm just saying, let the guy work his way up..Nothing wrong with that..

I say give him at least a mil, this is going to be yet another tough fight for him imo.

I don't think this is his big money fight and I can't see them giving him a million for it. But he's negotiating and he knows that it plays it correctly then there's no reason he won't get the winner of Pac-Rios next year.

But I wouldn't pay him more than 750k for this fight.
