No, I don't think Arum lied, I think he was legit in saying that if the injury were to re-occur and he had to cancel his main event in China (which btw is huge, and would destroy the whole event if it happened).

Instead if it happens with Provodnikov it's not as bad.

Anyways, if this fight happens in Denver (Alvarados hometown) expect a huge bias towards Alvarado in terms of the judge used, the scorecards and everything else. I wouldn't be surprised if Alvarado loses but gets given a gift.

yeah that's what i hate about top rank/arum...they always ****ed up the ppv undercards. nowadays, even undercards is a major decider for ppv buyers.

jmm-bradley + alvarado-provo...would've been a no-brainer for anyone who loves boxing to buy the ppv.

Arum loves building fighters on undercards and making money. Honestly, I think hr thinks about entertainment value of the undercard second and just hopes it is.
