If this fight gets made, I can see mayweather in broner's ear... Grandma Beater / purse snatcher? did I miss some headlines on Broner? Or was it a stereotypical dig at him? I do not like Broner outside the ring but inside it I do respect his UNTESTED skill set. Its funny how black fighters get ridiculed and racially slurred on these sights by boxing fans - while we have shinanigans happening across the spectrum of fighters (Asian / Hispanic / white / black)

And when African American fans attempt to defend their fighters, they are the ones labeled Racist.

True.. Broner's test was malignaggi...he failed to impress... Canelo's test was Trout and did not impress...adjusted his style correct.. But he should of or could of done better.... To me Mayweather wins... But I would love to see canelo do at least 2x better than what Cotto did for me to praise him.. The trout fight just wasn't enough to convince me that he can deal with Mayweather . But he does have a punchers chance if any.. And thanks for the respect in response

100% agree. It baffles me that someone people say Canelo was impressive and Broner wasn't. Neither were impressive in their so called coming out parties. Not that Paulie is great to be called a huge coming out party but it was supposed to be a statement fight with Broner jumping divisions.

Broner will not run

Those thinking that Broner is going to get on a bike and run from Maidana can think again. Despite all of the comparison's Broner gets to Floyd, he's really nothing like him other than their punching style. Beyond that, they are night and day.

Further more, I've watched Broner enough to know that he's terrible when he tries to move backward. He did a little of that vs. Ponce De Leon, and it caused him to lose rounds and effectiveness.

Broner will be there to hit, and will be hit, but he's going to do a lot of hitting too.

Personally, I see Broner winning this fight by knockout. Maidana presents some challenges, but I think Broner is much better at rolling with punches, and that's ultimately going to be the difference.
