Same when he fought DLH he ran and didnt even want to be there and fight. This carried over to his son who backed down and quit against Leija. This then brings me to Kermit Clintron. He talked a big game and then literally cried in the ring aginst Margarito. Inexcusable for a built strong guy like that to cry for simply getting spanked. I can understand Diego or Clintron crying for losing a loved one or crying tears of joy like Buster did after beating Tyson. Then there is Tito Trinidad. He cried after Hopkins spanked him and ran back to PR, and then after Winky he quit the last four rounds. He then preceeded to retire again and thus again cried in PR. Why are all of these PR fighters wilting, quitting, and crying. Please again this is not flame bait I just want to understand your culture. Ive never seen Mexican fighters do this so I dont think its a broad based Latino issue. Heck when Gatti got beat down by PBF he was dejected but didnt cry. Then you have Angel Manfredy another Borikua fighter who after he suffered a similiar beating at the hands of PBF he cried in the ring as well. When you growing up do your fathers discipline you and say **** like "Stop crying or Ill give you something to cry about" like in Italian culture or do they just accept males crying for trivial reasons. Thanks for your time I look forward to your responses.
What's the point of this thread? Those are owned fighters of the past and we shouldn't bother with them.

also, i'm a big dlh fan - hes just mentally soft at times. a mf'er who takes my 50 bux for a PPV and decides to cheat me out of a good fight, deserves to lose.
i dont see it that way because we are fans. the part where you felt cheated. we arent the ones in there putting our lives on the line. i look at it like this, why did trinidad let delahoya run like that? why didnt he chase him down and knock him out like zab judah did to spinks? i agree delahoya was wrong to run, of course. a fighter should always fight, but there are two fighters in there and the other guy should do something about it.

i guess people do score fights differently. i was just curious.

If i recall correctly Gatti was crying in the corner, he sure was crying, i remember that. Angel Manfredy is not a great PR boxer. It is funny how you say Macho was "talented", when in another discussion we had you said that he was garbage. APS214 common, cry...it is ok to cry, let those PR hate feelings out, you will feel better once it is all over, I promise

oh no, you're not getting off that easy ... how dare you turn this around on me!? THE GALL!!! now, proceed with the story ... theres hope for you yet! seriously, I WANT FOR EVERYONE HERE TO SUPPORT ME ON THIS, we need to know what happened to aps ... be it grownig up, at school, a problem at the house that sparked this disdain for pr's. you remind me of the character that ed norton played in american history X when his dad is at the breakfast table and said something nasty about blacks and little eddy then went and ran with it and basically turned out how he did. boxingscene community ... we need to intervene here, for aps own personal progression.

Dont waste your time you are arguing with biased, closed-minded people. Hell I watch boxing even thinks Tito was the greatest welterweight of all time. How can you rationalize with such uneducated simpletons who have nothing else going for them in life that the most important thing to them and their nation is an overrated boxer who quits and cries?

if tito had zabs legs, he would have caught him, but you just can't up and learn how to change up your game because the other guy isn't trying to play with you. its like telling mark mcguire, "mark, no more homers we need stolen bases, start stealing bases now" .. you can't do it.

Machotime and Baya, why do you guys keep falling in the trap? Don't reply to these types of threads and that's it. You should only discuss Boxing with people who know it and appreciate it regardless of nationality.
