I think the difference is their fighting styles! Don't promise a "war" and FOTY candidates when you're defensive and boring to casual fans! Who will hate you for that! Calling you a runner and then your choice of opponents makes the same people call you a ducker.. Ali fought the best, Tyson did too, Chavez sr, Leonard, hagler, Duran, bhop, ODLH, Moseley, Trinidad! All fought elite competition, and mayweather has old Moseley, small marquez, small hatton, baldomir, ancient gatti, Judah and war torn cotto.. Who of all them hatton is the only he ko'd! I know it's boxing not brawling before you say that.. But don't talk hype and deliver a glorified sparring session.. Floyd is elusive, its not running because he still manages to tag the hell out his opponent. Hit and not get hit, that's how you last long. That's why people say fighters like Cotto and Pac are past there prime, too many wars, no technique. They're past there prime but newsflash, they're younger than Floyd so whose fault is that? This isn't backyard brawling, its boxing. There are skills to this.

Not suprised, with a Mixture of Hispanics routing for Hispanics and the Black Hate/Racism in the US by all races including black. Furthermore Floyd is top of the pyramid and the underdog theory is more likable to the mutual fans.

Floyd's personality is humble and uniquely his, its just haters majority Filipinos that contrast Manny (with no personality) to Floyd Calling him "arrogant". When you call a teacher a "pervert" that stains their career. But in contrast to Adrian Broner you can see how humble Floyd has always been.

Floyd always has high respect for every fighter, with pro sportsmanship and this is underlooked and covered with "Arrogant" on purpose.

A black Athlete will always be the target of Hate, He wont complain though because they're paying to watch him. All he needs to do is Keep winning.

The Humble Fans no matter what race the boxer is they respect their achievements/talent with their own opinions - this is my category.

People are not comparing the two both at 22! They said Canelo is more popular now so I raised a simple question! He is this big star how many PPV's has he headlined? And Floyd hasn't fought anybody who has Canelo fought??

Canelo" Has Old Mosley, and Trout? lol which would have gone either way at a neutral location.

See this is what I Hate from fan-boys Mosley was 38 when he fought Floyd & Pac.....he was 39 when he fought Canelo and you fan boys dismiss it as if it is a big diference in age. By the way Canelo did better in that fight than Many and floyd, acording to the score cards.
