The same can not be said for maidana. It's not double standards, it's two different situations.

I say broner throws his Good Boy (Golovkin Reference) bodyshot and Ko's Maidana in round 9. This is Macklin vs Golovkin all over again except broner has less power. But that body is as bad as khans, david price's and seth mitchell's chin.

I highly doubt Maidana is trying to price himself out of this fight. Broner will get paid a king's ransom no matter who he fights because he's now GBP's star. Maidana just wants his piece of that and to be paid accordingly, which is fair because he's earned it.
Paulies can sell tickets in Brooklyn. The fact that he was the champ has nothing to do with it. It isnt fair that Paulies making more money than Maidana but life isnt fair. Its just the way the sport is. I think 5 hundo is a fair offer. We will just have to see. Right now its just Maidana talking. We dont know anything about negotiations taking place. Hell we dont even know when Broners next fight date is.

This is as false as it gets. No way would Maidana fear a small welter weight like Broner. Maidana knows Broner reels in doe and he would like a good check, that's about it.

Yes you're right and that's a good point. I agree that 500k is a good purse for Maidana.

if it was that bad maidana would have a KO loss by now.

I dont't think this fight would be a smart move for Broner. He could end badly hurt. By the way, I posted this same news today earlier (Maidana was interviewed by Clarín newspaper). Chino also said the fight would be a war, but he agreed with the journalist that Broner fights too erect and with his mouth open, which exposes him to end with his jaw broken.
