TR PPV cards are always the worse! Cant wait to see who makes their boxing debut on the Pac/Rios card.
bob has forgotten more about promoting than I will ever know but with all the money HBO has saved with floyd on SHO and manny and chavez out for so long, I don't know why this isn't a WCB card with alvarado v provod on the undercard?

Then you can throw one of the young olympians on it and you have a great card.

        2. This PPV is gonna be at least 15 dollars cheaper anyway, not to mention HBO's ppv's are 10 times better than Showtimes ppv's.

        3. On top of that Marquez and Bradley were both in FOTY fights their last time out, Canelo and Floyds last fights were not exciting at all.
        You going hard. However....

        1. Mayweather and Canelo are going to be fighting for the lineal JMW title. And i didnt know 2 pounds could turn someone into a skeleton. I never heard of Canelo having trouble making 154... This is going to be a pick 'em fight.

        2. 15 bucks cheaper and you get what you pay for. 2 B-Sides as your PPV main event with no undercard to speak of. And as far as one network being better than the other, i think FIGHTS determine which PPV is superioir. Not which network they come on. What does HBO have that Showtime doesnt? Biased commentators?? The last Floyd endercard was solid. Worst case scenario, this will be the same deal. A solid undercard that leads up to a boxing clinic main event. Again, worst case scenario. And that still would make it the better FIGHT card out of the 3 we have remaining.

        3. Yes they were. This fight is going to be a good one. Not a significant fight, not even one with guaranteed fireworks because we know bradley has been in some ugly, boring, foul-filled fights, but i DO think its an intruguing matchup that would fit well on a HBO World Championship Boxing broadcast, that way they can cut out all the bs fights on the undercard. I was impressed with Floyds win over Guerrero, but i wasnt excited by it at all. This fight has the potential to be the same way.

For the same reason Rios, who everyone knows lost 2 of his last 3, and got an even bigger PPV. TR is dry and have no one left

15 dollars cheaper because you get the likes of Seanie Monaghan in the supporting bout. If you're a big fan of his it might be worth it, I guess?
