Comments Thread For: Monaghan vs. Smith To Open Bradley-Marquez PPV Card

BoxingScene.com has been advised that light heavyweight contender Seanie Monaghan (18-0, 11KOs) will open up the HBO Pay-Per-View undercard to Timothy Bradley vs. Juan Manuel Marquez, taking place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Monaghan, a popular ticket seller on the East Coast, will make his West Coast debut. 15 of Monaghan's 18 pro bouts have taken place in New York. He signed a promotional agreement with Top Rank last month and gets his first taste of big-card exposure. Monaghan will go up against once-beaten Anthony Caputo Smith (14-1, 10KOs).

I'd rather pay for this PPV than pay 75 dollars to watch Floyd fight a weight drained walking skeleton.

This PPV is gonna be at least 15 dollars cheaper anyway, not to mention HBO's ppv's are 10 times better than Showtimes ppv's.

On top of that Marquez and Bradley were both in FOTY fights their last time out, Canelo and Floyds last fights were not exciting at all.

Lucas vs. Danny is NOT happening. Boxingscene hasn't reported anything. No other boxing website on the net has reported anything either.

I thought it wasnt signed but the mods put up a sticky and Matthysse says its done.

                JMM/Bradley shouldn't even be a ppv.

It's not official, I wish it was but it isn't.

TR PPV cards are always the worse! Cant wait to see who makes their boxing debut on the Pac/Rios card.
