Floyd taking light jabs at Broner. Clearly Broner has more vested in this so called friendship than Floyd. Matter of time before the war of words begin between these two. He already called him Daniel son lol Broner is a clown anyway. Floyd was hoping he look good so he could warm his ass up later lol

But that was a great victory for him against Malignaggi. But Malignaggi, he’s a hell of a boxer. I like Broner. That’s my little brother. I like Broner, a young champion on the rise.”

After some back and forth with the host, Mayweather added, “But Broner’s a great young guy. He has a lot to learn. He has a lot to learn, but he’s a great young kid. I’m a veteran. I’ve been around the sport 17 years, dominating.”

Big Brother just telling the stone cold hard TRUTH.

Broner is a good fighter, but Floyd definitely had a harder road to the TITLE.

The only knock out you got in recent memory is when Ortiz pounding you around the ring, broke off a clinch, dropped his hands to his side and looked to the referee, and you sucker punched him not looking..... that's it! They aren't taking risks. They drop those names out there like Maidana, Guerrero, of which they will never fight. Hell, Floyd wouldn't fight Maidana after he destroyed Ortiz, thats why Floyd chose a knocked out Ortiz instead; what "champion" does that????? Broner had Peterson, Garcia, Rios, Matthysee, Alvarado all available to him before he chose Paulie Mags, and that was strategic in that Mags has ONLY KO'd 5 GUYS!!!!!!!!!!! There's no risk there.
So now Floyd ducked Maidana? Lean over and choke yourself.

If you think he is not as good as they claim (I agree with you), what would you say about a guy who has 42 fights and is still being moved slowly?

Maybe fight wise over "legacy" wise.

The problem is that Broner thinks he is already great. In his mind he is on the same plane as Mayweather, now. With Mayweather talking about Broner like he is far beneath him, I don't see how that can continue to sit well with Broner. Broner has done nothing but praise and glorify Mayweather, but I don't think he will accept this disrespect, even from his hero, forever.

If his imitations of Mayweather continue on, then he has painted himself as a sad, lost puppy, who won't bite back. But being young and arrogant with an I don't care about nothing attitude, I will be surprised if he does,

Twelve years ago, I was a Mayweather fan, now I have inspected certain qualities he has and have turned to someone who is anti-Mayweather. Hate is too strong. In a few years, Broner might be turned anti-Mayweather. It would be an interesting event.

Broner is being given fighters he can beat, hand picked....and this coming from Floyd, a guy that knows the cherry picking business to a tee. Seems like Mayweather is somewhat afraid Broner might make him look bad...( jealousy).

Floyd reminds me of Sheldon. Doesn't want anyone stealing his shine. What he said is true but none the less amusing.

Before Mayweather was a ducker and cherry picker he was fighting legit guys even at Broner age.

                      He has a point
