Saying "it was only a bruise" is a preposterous assertion considering the body language of Lebedev at the end of the fight showed he was in tremendous pain.

I don't recall a fighter taking such an insignificant punch as the final blow by Jones and having such a negative reaction.

Completely disagree. Hematoma aside, Lebedev was taking serious, serious punishment, and it was obvious he was in trouble towards the end before the fight was stopped. It was written all over his face. Boxers have died from less.

U sound real ignorant. I would take the time to educate you but it will lead to you telling us how Bob Arum is a god send.

U can fake everything on the Internet but when it comes to the medicine of the sport, you don't know shyt.

If true, what happened that night was unacceptable. Hence why the PHYSICIAN wanted to stop the bout.

Without a doubt Hyrunov is behind it. For him to sit there and act like there is an investigation is a truly hilarious charade. Sure he didn't intimidate the Doc personally but you better believe that whoever did is on Hyrunov's payroll and did it with his instruction.
and the funniest thing was that even Kostya, his trainer, didnt throw a towel....even a commentator (was afraid to say anything) when mentioned Abraham's stoppage against Stieglits said it was Abraham who gave up the fight when his eye was swollen shut and not a Doctor who stopped the fight...a complete BS !!!

He could have quit at any time in the fight he wanted to. Do you think that he is a robot controlled by ......them...... There are judgements and misjudgements made all the time in boxing corners. Look at the near disaster a couple of weeks ago with the female boxer Frida Wallberg, who got beaten up very badly, began to collapse, was examined by the doctor who said she would be alright, collapsed further and the doctor had to be dragged back by the trainer of the opponent, Lucia Rijker, who immediately saw what he hadn't. She's expected to recover after an emergency operation for a subdural haematoma.

You sound like a circus clown, especially attacking me about 'education'..... First you should learn how to write English correctly, throw away all your "u"s. After all, it's only a little 3 letter word...perhaps you are more used to "4 letter words".....

And, just a point concerning 'education'; the correct term is "reall-Y ignorant", and the two words "god" and "send" should be hyphenated. If you don't know what that means, as seems obvious, it should be this.. "god-send".

And, lest we forget.... thank you for the tentative offer to "educate" me, but I gave up hanging around those dives when still a teen-ager, and you should better use the time to "educate" yourself.
