Not only that... these guys are value guys. I don't think Kovalev was making much on NBC and HBO is still getting GGG for about 350k.

Do you see HBO putting these guys on 3-4 times a year if they can keep their fights under a million?

it will be good business but as a neutral, I see cleverly taking kovalev apart imo, he is better in most aspects, he does tend to show boat (leaving himself exposed)

but in relation to your topic, in terms of value for money, non americans provide far better because they have less hype imo you look at b level guys like berto and broner who are far less talented being paid more

think of it this way, why did gb come begging back already to show their fights 1 month ago on hbo? the people who are suffering are gb, they lost showtime money on their ppv and are simply recycling bad fights, when broner gets k0d and he will, what then?

all they have done is taken a small fee from guys like floyd, sacrificed their guys instead of keeping them and building their status up. look at how many good guys they are wasting away

remember, they are desperate as they are making losses each year

hbo is just trying to find an opponent for boring andre ward. the winner of cleverly-kovalev should be that opponent because both are exciting and will make ward somewhat watchable but still pretty awful.
