Great. Now, I will get to read 100 posts about how Garcia/Matthysse is responsible for the success of the Mayweather/Alvarez PPV because none of the ignorant haters on this site will give Floyd credit and we all know that Alvarez has never been responsible for a single PPV buy.

Hell no! The winner can get in line with all the others who want to fight Floyd. The winner should move up to 147 and take on Robert Guerrero or the Alexander/Khan winner. The winner of that fight should get a chance to fight Floyd.

I find it hard to believe Floyd would pick the winner of Alexander-Khan over the winner of this fight, but you never know I guess.
Alexander is a better and more accomplished fighter than Khan, Garcia and Matthysee combined. Matthysee has never held a championship belt. Garcia has only beaten Khan, a should-have-retired-three-years-ago Eric Morales and a washed up Judah to hang on to a 140-pound belt. Alexander has beaten better quality opponents at both 140 and 147 than all three of these guys combined and has held belts at both weight classes.

The winner of Garcia-Matthysee has no right to jump over Alexander for an opportunity to fight. They need to prove themselves by going through Alexander (assuming he beats Khan) to get an opportunity to fight Mayweather.

After Canelo, Floyd will need a softer touch then the next fight can be against Garcia.

Cotto, Guerrero, Canelo then Garcia/Matthyse? Nah, that needs to be spread out.

Champions don't need to face KILLERS every time out. This is the way boxing has always worked.

Look at DLH career for reference.
Every one of these guys is a soft touch for Mayweather. Unless he gets old in a hurry, none of these guys are capable of beating him.

**** outta here better than then combined. He lost to Kotelnick n got a gift decision. Khan whooped Kotelnick. He also lost to Bradley who was scared of khan. His best win is a close victory over matthysse. Alexander is garbage

Well this makes it an interesting card worth the $30 dollars for a cinema ticket. This SHOULD be a great night of boxing as long as the cherry picking part of the 4 man equation doesn't ruin it by running like hell and acting like he's still on dancing with the stars.
