Heavyweight contender Tyson Fury shredded British legend Lennox Lewis for his training job with David Price (15-2, 13KOs), who got knocked out by Tony Thompson in the fifth round of their rematch on Saturday night. yup....

very rarely do talented 'british' fighters fulfill potential, because they're overly concerned about appearing 'loyal'....

kell brook's got the same problem, he has some fundamental flaws that aren't being addressed.... and by the time he does it may be too late....

i can understand why you'd want to move a 30 year old fighter quickly.

he had just over 40 rounds pro leading into the second thompson fight. he had never been beyond seven rounds. he only has 17 fights now, and his career looks like it's over.

delvis was surely never going to be some great HW, but he surely could have had a better career than this if he had been moved along more slowly.

        poor delvis.

Fury is very good with Peter in his corner.

That said, I am pretty sure Price would blast out a small Cunningham as well. I am Fury fan but I am not sure his stock is particularly high after he got dropped by the smaller man.

Your only as good as your last fight and all that.

            I agree to an extent.

Someone like Price would have been better of with Warren. But he just needs to reel of about 8 wins against overmatched opponents and it is as you were.

Ultimately though, he's had his litmus test and failed.......twice.

Can Peter teach Price the self-uppercut?

Tyson should just pack it in. let Price go away and make a decision. Tyson has'nt really beaten any quailty heavyweigt as such and Thompson who is clearly a notch up from Price, is better than any heavyweight Tyson has faced. I still want to know why Tyson pulled out of the Pulev fight.

Hey, even Vitali told Wlad to pack it in after he lost to Brewster. That's boxing.

So I doubt Price is finished. He needs better people around him, though.
