Cotto-Rodriguez not final, check these other possible "options"

    http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id...turns-top-rank

Most of the article is already on the boxingscene one, but not this last part that ends the ESPN article.....

If the deal with Rodriguez is not finalized, other names mentioned as potential Cotto opponents include Michael Oliveira, Damian Jonak and David Zegarra. One name rumored as a possible opponent, top contender Carlos Molina, was never in the running, Penagaricano said.

Please for the love of god, let it be Delvin Rodriguez. Funny how Carlos Molina was never actually in the running.

Also, no contract with Top Rank and they still maintain a positive relationship with Golden Boy. Canelo in 2014 is still a possibility if it pops up. Top Rank has no contract with him and it's a fight by fight basis.

Considering the options, which are a bunch of unknowns, I guess Delvin Rodríguez is alright after all. I would even prefer Bundrage over those. If he ends up picking one of the no names I will understand if he gets widely criticized.

Delvin Rodriguez is a good tune up for him at this point. He's 32, I still think he has another year or two of good fighting left in him, please don't waste it on complete garbage Cotto.

This is all in the boxingscene article, except that last part.

There was no mention of those no names in the article on here. I trust ESPN and Cotto's history of opponents, that those guys are getting some real consideration.

If im cotto i am taking the easiest fight available and whoever comes cheapest....

                  Cotto's return will sell tickets....
Let him get an easy win without taking to much damage, and then cash out with canelo, serg, bradley/jmm

Delvin is alot of risk, and wouldnt surprise me if there is an upset....
