This kid isn't serious about boxing. Majority of the top fighters stay in shape year round and maintain a proper diet. You can't just turn it on and off forever. Sooner or later bad habits will catch up with you. The Sergio fight was just a small taste of what's to come. What happens when Chavez fights GGG? Ward?

He wasn't even hurt. There is no excuse to be that fat. Then when you add in the fact that he didn't put in maximum effort while training for his biggest fight with Sergio, there is a major problem. It's going to be tough for a fighter that came from privilege and didn't have to earn his way up in the same manner as other fighters.

WTF are yall talking about... Yes Chavez is big, but we have also seen Canelo blow up to as much as 185 in between fights and then turn around and still make 154, better yet 153! Bradley has also blew up in recent past to 180+ and still made 147! Chavez is risking being drained in order to make weight but it shouldn't be impossible for him to make weight..this is his M O
