Maidana is not an easy fight for anyone*. It's true, Broner matches up well stylistically against him, but what does the guy in the video want, Broner to take on movers every time? we just saw him against a mover in Paulie, we saw it against Ponce, the people wanted Maidana, so GBP made it happen.

Didn't work against Shawn Porter or Tim Bradley. They did something about it. Maidana couldn't and was embarrassed in a shutout that made him contemplate retirement.

Maidana looses to slick boxer types, he'll loose to Broner unless he gets lucky, which is why we watch boxing. He's also been put on his ass so Broner could stop him, in fact for Broner's skills in the ring to match his mouth he needs to stop him, then he can generate some real interest in himself, instead of just being a mini Mayweather wannabe.

Broner has yet to fight a pressure fighter and puncher like Maidana. So what if the style match-up favors Broner? The fight still has to play out in the ring and we don't know how Broner will react. If he beats Chino, then he can move on to bigger, better and (stylistically) tougher opposition. Let him pass this test first.
