Comments Thread For: Tony Thompson: I would love to fight Tyson Fury

The Liverpudlian heavyweight had been working his way towards a world title shot when Thompson floored and stopped him to wreck his unbeaten record in February. Price, who turned 30 on Saturday, had hoped to avenge that loss and get his career back on track at the Liverpool Echo Arena. But Thompson proved his first win was no fluke, carefully but emphatically taking Price apart before bludgeoning him into a fifth-round stoppage.

Agreed. I hope Fury wins, but I am really looking forward to that fight.

Nope he should fight Fury next, win or lose

I have no interest of watching Haye KO Tony

Fury and TT is personal after all that crap Fury talked about TT and also we get to measure how good Fury is compared to Price.

I think Thompson would be a good opponent for Chris Arreola's comeback fight.

Tony Thompson don't have **** to lose, he is a 41 year fighter that guys like Price and Fury are "SUPPOSE TO BEAT" so all he can do is go out their and overachive I guess some would call it and ruin young fighters careers for a decent Payday

                  Is this a joke?

Fury has already beaten better fighters than Tony Thompson. Just because an old as hell and tired looking TT was able to crack Price's pathetic chin, he doesn't suddenly become some great prospect killer.

And In case you haven't noticed, Fury is no longer a prospect, he's a contender. His last fight was an IBF #2 eliminator.

TT is a big step down for Fury and why bother? Thompson wouldn't stand a chance.

If it was up to me every fight would be in England, lol. They have the best crowds i've ever seen and I've seen all of the Americas, a handful of European countries, and the middle east. And it's really not close. Give me british fans behind any fight, every fight feels like its the biggest fight in history, I love that.

Just look at the crowd behind Froch and Bute in the last round, that's what i'm talking about! I love it.

And i'm in freaking California but I would rather watch a bunch of drunk and crazy Brits on tv rather than sit with a bunch of lames at Vegas.
