Excuses: I was never capable to focus on De La Hoya fights -- too much PPV business-oriented in order for me to assess those fights.
American fighters are never called out for always fighting in the States, yet everyone else seems to be for fighting in their home country.Last edited by Humean; 07-06-2013, 07:00 PM.Comment

How is saying that Sturm beat De la Hoya an excuse? Sturm definitely won that fight as far as i'm concerned although of course De La Hoya was not really a middleweight.

I'm from Europe, but I still don't like the German way of dealing with pro boxing.Last edited by MDPopescu; 07-06-2013, 07:12 PM.Comment

Sturm wouldn't fight GGG when Golovkin was his mandatory. Absolutely no chance he will ever fight him. He lives in fear of any opponent with a decent punch, but he loves to talk about fights he would never accept. Is anyone really surprised they fed him a cupcake in a qualifier today? Sturm will be fighting for paper belts as long as he wants toComment

For other comment I don't think DLH didn't have a 'decent punch' or Macklin or Murrey or Zbik or Geal...Comment

Zbik? Geale? DLH at middleweight? You're being sarcastic I assume.Comment

Zbik, Geale or a MW DLH don't have power and in spite of the Martinez KD's i don't think Murray is a big puncher either he has 11KO's in a career filled with very soft opposition. Macklin was the only guy who has some solid power.Comment
