Former IBO world featherweight champion Daud “Cino” Yordan (31-3, 23 KOs) became the first Indonesain boxer to win titles in two weight divisions. He moved up by two weight classes to win a twelve round unanimous decision over Argentinean Daniel “Tatu” Brizuela (25-2-2, 8 KOs) to capture the IBO world lightweight title Perth Metro City in Perth Australia. The scores were 117-111 | 115-113 | 116-112. Yordan had it tough, often exchanging punches with Brizuela, who put up a very tough fight. After twelve rounds were completed, the judges were more impressed with Yordan's workrate, and cleaner punches. Yordan returned for the first time after April's upset TKO loss to Simpiwe Vetyeka.
