The scheduled fight between Bryan Vasquez (30-1, 16KOs) and Nicaraguan René "The Chirizo" Gonzalez (31-5-1, 23KOs), where the vacant interim World Boxing Association (WBA) super featherweight title will be at stake, is getting pushed back to a later date. It was going to take place on July 20th in Mexico and then pushed back to August 10th, but now it appears to be heading to a date in September in Costa Rica. Golden Boy Promotions is reportedly interested in televising the contest.
