Comments Thread For: Price: If I Lose Again, It Will Be Difficult To Reclaim Spot

DAVID PRICE knows he could be celebrating his 30th birthday on the boxing scrapheap.

The 6ft 8in Scouser bids for revenge against Tony Thompson at Liverpool’s Echo Arena tomorrow night – four months after the American belted him inside two rounds.

“This fight will be the making of me or the breaking of me,” said the British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion, who won his first 15 pro fights.

“I have got a lot to gain by winning, but a lot more to lose if it goes wrong.

“The risk outweighs the reward in this situation because it is a massive risk.

“If I was to lose against Tony Thompson again, it would be difficult to find a way back, but if I win, it’ll put me back to where I was in February.”

Think this will be a boring fight and Price using his jab to keep him away for the first six rounds. Think Price might try to take this 12 rounds

These idiots like Price and Fury set themselves up for failure. They go around pretending to be the heir apparents to the klitschkos and then one loss upsets their apple cart and breaks their version of reality. Less hype, the Bettr. Take everyone by surprise instead of trying to meet unrealistic expectations.

Well Price lost, so he can go have a piss lol. Fury won't be long behind him getting knocked out soon, that irish bum. I would sell the clothes off my back to see Fury laid out cold.
