Rachel Donaire, the wife of “The Filipino Flash” Nonito Donaire who is expecting their first born on July 21 has been admitted into hospital after injuring herself while saving a kid from drowning.

Nonito Donaire informed the Manila Standard that his wife was admitted into hospital for “fetal monitoring.”

Donaire recounted that during the 4th of July celebrations a friend’s son disappeared underneath the water and Rachel “didn’t hesitate to jump in after him but injured herself in the process.”
