The World Boxing Association ordered a purse bid for the mandatory fight for the vacant title at 122 pounds, between interim champion Scott Quigg and top ranked contender Yoandris Salinas. The order was made by the Committee of the WBA Championships, which set the purse bid for Monday July 15 at 11:00 am at the offices of the World Boxing Association, located in Marbella, Panama. Responsible for directing the auction will be the WBA's Executive Vice President Gilberto Jesus Mendoza.
