My boy Mikey turned fight down 1st time when he said he wasn't ready. Good thing ecause now we know that Gamboa was "turntup". Now with the Miami facilty closed lets get it on.

Yeah, I think Garcia would be nuts not to take it. Gamboa seems ready to be beaten IMO and Garcia could well be the guy to do it.

Gamboa is one of those talented fighters that instead of staying in a weight class and dominating it he is all over the scale now looking for opportunity.

Yeah, sadly Gamboa's career mirrors the way he typically fights: lots of potential but no real game plan.

Gamboa drops his hands way too much for me. Dude is tough but he jsut takes too many rounds off and is too sloppy. I expected a better fight from Gamboa-he didn't put on the performance I expected (just like Broner) last time out.

Mikey is patient, smart, and focused-all the things Gamboa is not.

Nice. Gotta give gamboa some respect if he goes down and takes this fight. Not a great risk/reward situation for him.

I like garcia to win, Gamboa still has too many bad habits in the ring and once he starts fighting better opposition its gonna catch up to him.

I always felt like Gamboa is one of those fighters who would have greatly benefited from having emmanuel steward as a trainer. He would"ve cleaned all that struff up in his fight game and get the most out of his talent

Hell yes. This is a great match-up. I lean towards Garcia, but Gamboa is a live dog, and seems to rise to the level of his opposition when he fights so who knows. Make it happen.
