That would be his best bet, but even to do that you still have to be able to match your opponents speed somewhat. you can't corner him and rough him up if you can't cut off the ring and keep him there.

example: Mayweather vs guerrero -
Ghost tried to start roughin him up a couple times but Floyd was just too quick and able to get out when he wanted too. That was because of the huge discrepancy in foot speed. That same difference in foot speed will be there between Broner and maidana

Broner in no way compares in foot speed with Floyd, he is flat footed and is ease to hitthe 4' 11" midget Reece was putting the heat on Broner for 3-1/2 rounds but not power, El Chino needs just a couple of those or better yet one punch will put Broner down and very likely out.

Alexander is bigger, more adjusted to the higher weight which has allowed him to use his strength more but he is not better than Broner at all, Alexander can't fight inside, can't handle pressure. Maidana himself can't fight on the inside, and Alexander had so much success because Maidana was head hunting with wide punches, Maidana has shown some noticeable technical improvements but that isn't enough to make much of a difference against Broner.

The way people post about Broner on here you would think he fights like a Floyd mayweather with amazing footwork, movement and defense. To me Broner isn't busy enough and if he stands and turtles up after throwing 1 or 2 punches like he did vs Paulie it would spell disaster vs Maidana.

Broner is getting far too much praise on these forums, hes got one good win vs Demarco and a decent win vs Paulie which was close. I keep hearing things like "Maidana won't land a shot" and i find that bizarre.
