I'd like to add, without judgment or any ill will, that there is positively nothing special about being the first openly gay champion. First one armed/mentally handicapped/disabled champion? Yes, that warrants merit. Being gay doesn't put an athlete at any physical disadvantage which would warrant exceptional praise or attention. But hey, what with the way society is today, I'm not surprised if maybe he wants to catch a headline or two.

I dont care if hes gay or not as long as he behaves like a man in the ring and not like a woman.

You better believe if he becomes champion and headlines in his own PPV, things will start to appear a bit awkward from the fight build-up, to the weigh-ins, to the stare downs, to the ring walk.
