seriously though, is showtime willing to shell out that much money for the fighters' purses? we know that floyd's and canelo's combined guarantees is the highest purse ever in boxing so that alone is already too much cost to recover.

if they add garcia-matt, they have to really make very good ppv numbers. garcia is already asking too much money for that fight so that's an added burden for the ppv numbers. they have to make something like 1.8M ppvs at least to make money.

i think showtime is biting more than they can chew here.

Too many posters want to play business advisers for Showtime and GBP saying these fights should be headlining as main event so GBP/Showtime can make $$$$$$.
