Initially I thought this fight, between Fury and Haye, is a lop sided in Haye's favor, and then I thought about it some more and I think it's going to be a close fight

I had Haye winning the Valuev fight, but what made the fight close was that he didn't throw any punches, probably because he was scared of Valuev...

Haye averaged a pathetic ~12 punches thrown per round. He ended up with a high accuracy, but all he did was throw one punch and then run. I don't blame him for the strategy because Valuev does get inside and like to grab his opponents and weaken them with his size.

Fury moves well for his size, that's one of the things he's not given credit for. After the second round against Cunningham he was really closing the distance on him and Cunningham was on his bicycle and eventually got KTFO. He's not a plodder like Valuev, I think he's going to be able to track Haye down, grab on to him, throw some punches on the inside, wear him down and potentially knock him out late.

I see the fight going 2 ways. Haye needs a quick knockout between rounds 1-4, but if he doesn't achieve the knockout and Fury survives the onslaught, Fury will cut him off, he will wear him down and then finish him late in the fight similar to how he finished Cunningham.

      This ^^^^.

If Fury can weather the storm, I fancy him to stop Haye late. Haye's stamina is STILL a problem. He was blowing hard against Chisora after only 3 rounds.

Fury and Chisora are two different animals though. Haye had averaged 50 power punches per round against Chisora the first 3 rounds. Obviously that won't be the case against Fury, where the size difference will be a massive factor - hence it will be way more tactical. As soon as Haye drops Fury though, he will attack him like a crazy person like he did against Chisora/Audley/Enzo. I still can't see Fury lasting 5 rounds, but even if, I still fancy Haye to take him on points. I mean, Wlad could hardly land on Haye and he's 10 times better in every department.

If Fury has his uncle in his corner and gets Fury to fight like he did against kevin johnson i think Fury could win on decision, or late stoppage.
          Haye vs Vauev was close?

If Fury does something something something??

Come on bro stop this hate mongering.... your boy Froch and Haye are good friends

I agree for the most part. I fancy Haye inside four rounds; but if Fury can maintain a tight guard, get in close and put some of his weight on Haye, he'll tire him out. Haye DOES have stamina issues.

Either we'll get an all-guns blazing Haye, or a tentative pot-shot version a la Valuev.

                I had Valuev-Haye wide in Haye's favour.

Valuev is also a harder fight than Fury. Slower? Sure. Less skill? Yep (not by much though tbh). However, the sheer size, weight and durability of Valuev far outweighs anything Fury brinngs to the table.

                Haye in 3.
