  • if most people had Valuev close with Haye why wouldnt Fury beat Haye

IMO haye Valuev was one of the worst matches of all time. but that aside it was a no contest, valuev was to slow but controlled the ring, Haye was too elusive with terrible punch output.

If Fury has his uncle in his corner and gets Fury to fight like he did against kevin johnson i think Fury could win on decision, or late stoppage.

Fury was very disciplined vs Johnson and has improved of late. But I think the mind games will win this one for Haye, he'll goad him into getting into a fight during the build up and Fury just won't be able to resist.

He'll open up and get knocked out.

Fury will get KOed by himself via uppercut.

Kevin Johnson? You somehow managed to reference a heavyweight who throws less punches than Haye. Quite a feat!

that proves my exact point. Haye isnt winning any decision, haye is like ace king suited v pocket queens. IF tyson Fury gets his head in shape the pocket queens holds out and wins on decisoion as Haye has very poor output.

But if Fury gets goaded in with the mind games and Fury performs how he did against cunningham then his pocket queens will get cracked.

imo its Furys to lose as he has all the advantages...

Haye Valuev was not close, Valuev landed about 2 jabs the whole night, you don't give a boxer rounds for just plodding forwards.

Anyway, Valuev has an iron chin which kept him in there for the full 12, Fury doesn't and will probably get clocked early on, his only chance is to keep his guard high and try walk haye down, simmilar to how he big-manned cunningham after round 3

It doesn't prove anything. Haye's output won't need to be all that high because when he lands, it will be powerful and it won't be long before its over.
