Comments Thread For: Khan: Canelo Too Flat-Footed, Mayweather Will Beat Him

Bolton’s Amir Khan returned to the U.K. for his last fight, a decision win over Julio Diaz at Sheffield’s Motopoint Arena in April, but he is preparing himself for another Stateside run, hopefully against IBF welterweight titlist Devon Alexander in December, in a bid to make himself eligible for the Floyd Mayweather sweepstakes.

Khan’s high profile and tendency to be involved in exciting fights — win or lose — saw him touted as a potential opponent for “Money” at one point. Many within the trade believe that the 26-year-old is still one impressive win and a major title away from earning a crack at Floyd. Khan, though, just wants to get himself back amongst the titles first and insists that the British fans will flock over to support him in the U.S. if he can secure yet another major fight.

Khan has to show first that he's not only a Harlem shake dancer.

wait...I thought only pac fought flat footed come forward guys...not floyd according to his stans

guerrero and ortiz, both flat footed as is alvarez, hmm is this another situation where floyd fans are shown to be hypocrites like in the whole catchweight issues? surely now?

yeah dude, the funny thing was I remember when all those threads were about that pac only fought those guys, they could not see the guy they loved did the same thing

its common practice, unless you are a proper proper beast, it is easier to fight flat footed guys

golo seems to look like the exception, he seems to have good footwork about him

floyd and pac are so alike, it is unreal, both weight drain, look for small advantages, fight smiler type of guys and have huge egos

Flat footed huh?? Well that's still better than no footwork at all, like you Khan.

Khan still talking about a Floyd match. Floyd would love to fight Khan for obvious reasons.

Khan hasn't even secured a fight with Alexander and if he does more than likely he won't win. He will be doing the cha cha cha all over again.

May/Canelo fight hasn't even happened and so many fighters are trying to linup for Floyd

                Whats easier?

Young, bigger, stronger, undefeated, off of outboxing his biggest test in Trout, Alvarez?

                Or

Younger, sloppy, does the funky chicken every time he gets hit, almost stopped in his last fight, got blasted by his 140lb friends, thinks he can beat anybody because he can skip around the ring with meaningless shoeshine combinations, whose self loving head gets bigger with every knockout loss...or maybe e thats just swelling?

Yeah, Floyd should fight Khan. He hasn't had a KO for awhile and Khan's chin would just about guarantee one.
