Comments Thread For: Egberime Willing To Replace Spadafora, Face Dulorme

This past week, news broke right here on BoxingScene.com that Paul Spadafora rejected the opportunity to face prospect Thomas Dulorme on HBO Latino. Although the reasons weren't clear it was believed to be over a low offer. Recently, I had the chance to sit down with 140lb contender Solomon "Mr. Jones" Egberime, who lost a decision in his last outing to Spadafora. We had the chance to discuss his previous fight with Paul Spadafora, future plans, Thomas Dulorme and more!

I didn't know that Spadafora is still fighting.
Back in 2003, Spadafora was awarded a split draw against Leonard Dorin -- they fought with three world titles on the table. But after that Spadafora never fought for a title again (even if in 2003 he held the IBF and IBC belts).

Spady is a small venue club circuit boxer now. He needs to stay there and continue to run his unbeaten record up.
