  • Wonderful !!!!

I hope there is a monster build up and HBO puts on a SPECTACULAR venue and build up that rivals showtime and jr.

These two Warriors are true Warriors GGG and SERGIO

I hope they both make it to the ring

    GGG is da MANG!!!!!!!

    • Idk but Martinez didnt convince me at all in his last fight. Yea the guy was a solid fighter but Martinez looked awful. Its a risky fight with Golovkin no matter what. He is a declining OLD fighter which idk how he still pulled some crazy wins but now its starting to show that he is almost out the door. I just dont want to see him out like Pac in his last fight.

      • wow that's a good and bad news for every one, good that he'll be fighting GGG in 2014, bad that he'll be sent into retirement

            Shyt post.

Sergio is the man, I'd buy Golovkin/Sergio

            • Boxing would be so much better if all fighters had Sergio's attitude .

              • Love Sergio for taking on all comers. THAT is a true warrior. I don't think Martinez has enough left to keep GGG off of him though. Age and injuries have taken their toll on Maravilla, and 2014 isn't going to help either.

                • Maybe he will have no problem facing ggg, but he will have more problems than he can handle trying to beat him.

Martinez also got dropped along the ropes twice in his last fight, and he got beat up along the ropes in his fight before that. If anybody can implement that strategy against GGG, it's not Martinez.

GGG with his non existent head movement is in for a rude awakening if he, or his fans, think he's gonna run over Sergio like he did Macklin. He may win later in the fight but he's going to have to earn it.

GGG is not a bigger puncher than Kostya Tsyzu was, and Kostya's power was mitigated plenty of times in big fights.

The guy that will end GGG immediately is SOG WARD!
He's gradually improving in that area. But I agree that he's gonna have to work and will eat some leather in return.

                    • I love sergio too much to take on GGG. He would need a tune up fight where his hand and knee hold-up. If he still has that amazing movement and reflexes, then I might favor Martinez. If not, GGG will brutalize him. Like his rep said, Sergio needs to be 100% just to compete against GGG. Also, I don't know if the hands down defense is a good idea against GGG. (duhhh)
