chavez jr is doing his career a big step up by keeping Freddie roach as his trainer, he could have finish Martinez by just boxing with defense, Martinez is shot ya w estuvo he is done, Chavez Jr can comeback a better fighter if trains properly w/roach.

      For real?

If boxing keep letting this Chavez kid fight at 160, They should be ashame. He is walking around at lease 200, Just because you can lose that much weight should not put you in that class. I think he should have came in at 160 and than keep moving up. But I think when some one get brain injury from a fighter being hit by some one is out weigthing them by 25 lbs and up, Maybe we will go back to the old days weight on the day of the fight, for all the fights. But Chavez pick on some body your size 168,175. Get a heart like yo DAD.

No way. Ward will absolutely embarrass Chavez Jr. Easy, easy win.

Chavez still thinks he can make MW, but he clearly can't. Chavez/Bika is a fight I have no problems with, as he definitely shouldn't be fighting Ward next.

Now that Chavez has that L in his record, I think all the fights that couldn't be made before the Martinez fight, will be made. There's not as much need to protect a guy who was an undefeated, cash-cow. Plus, that 12th round kind of salvaged what would have been a clean sweep. In fact, it implanted interest into a re-match.

I'd like to see Chavez against any of those guys listed. If he goes up to 168, I'd rather see him fight Bika first to test his power at that class then fight Ward. If he stays at 160, I'd love a GGG match. I'm more interested in Chavez/GGG than Martinez/GGG. (I don't want to see Martinez Ko'd.) I think Chavez will have a HUGE weight advantage and has an iron chin. They say GGG spars with light heavy weights and cruiser weights, well he's going to ACTUALLY fight one in Chavez on fight night. (lol.) I'd love to see how Roach preps Chavez for a fight with GGG.

Bika has a mandatory doesn't he though?

Im a martinez fan, but chavez has really won me over. Ppl hate in him unduly. It anazes me how canelo is idolized while chavez is bagged. Theres nothing really to dislike about him. The 24/7 series really showed character which is quite humble and respectful, and i dig his fihting style.

Bout time we give props too him.. At least he's willing to fight anyone.
