    Broner's and Golovkin's performance.....

MY thoughts. I don't claim these to be facts just my opinion.

Broner is a lazy fighter and I can see him having weight problems throughout his career ala James Toney. I was screaming at him to go after Paulie. Paulie fought the perfect fight and exposed serious flaws in Broners game.

BUT..... People who taught Broner would blast out Paulie were fooling themselves. It's not Power that stops Paulie its accumulation (like the Khan KO)
A prime Cotto couldn't stop Paulie so that's no knock on him.

Overall was really disappointed , his ceiling is looking alot lower.

GGG is a certified beast. I wouldn't be surprised if he has adamantium grafted to his hands. Has good skills coming forward and has showed no signs of a weak chin.

BUT....the verdict is still not in. Macklin and Martinez are not 160 fighters. Murray and Golovkin were too big for them. I'd love to see him fight Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam or Peter Quilin.

Overall very impressed but taught Macklin looked like he was fighting out of his weight.

Macklin isn't a 160 fighter? Where the hell has he spent his whole career in then?

      Broner - bad

      GGG - extraordinary

And I'm not sure what you mean by saying saying Macklin and Martinez aren't 160 fighters

        lol right?

Macklin had a couple early career fights at 154, other than that he's been at 160 for 10 years.

The last time Sergio fought at 154 was four years ago.

huh?? Macklin is a fully fledged middleweight, he wasn't fighting out of his weight, GGG simply has extraordinary power for a middleweight so it looks like he is bullying guys in there. Best revise your opinions.

              re the two performances
              Broner - Disappointing
              GGG - Awesome

GGG is a finished procuct. He is great right now. He gets an A+ for his fight with Macklin who is indeed a middleweight. Martinez has been the world middleweight champ for years now so he is also a middleweight. Martinez could drop to 154 but for now he is a middleweight. Broner gets a grade of C from me. He had way to much trouble with an average welterweight belt holder. Broner won the fight for sure but Paulie said he does not hit hard at welterweight and is not all that fast. Paulie said the Cotto and the Khan that he fought were much better fighters than Broner.Broner could improve but I don't think he will ever be anywhere near as good as GGG is right now.

Sorry about the typo. I meant to say GGG is a finished product while Broner is still learning and could improve.
