GGG lands "lucky punch" every fight. All he wants is just ONE couple shots, just, land lucky punch, just, good boy.

he got caught flush, full power and didn't see it coming.

      his chin didn't fail him.

      he failed his chin.

Yeah, I agree with this somewhat, anyone can be KO'd but what simplifies this equation is if they're easier to hit and have suspect chins. Another thought comes to mind is a fighter that has taken punishment and undergone the tremendous physical changes Manny has. I can't view him in the same terms as his erstwhile rival Floyd Mayweather.

Manny's style wasn't defensively based it was high output based, a crucial difference that affects a fighters ultimate outcome. Despite manny's dominance he really got hit a lot, if one were to look objectively at his career. And getting hit isn't good. Its certainly stimulating to fans to see a good "rock em sock em" slugfest but to a fighter these exchanges measure against their longevity and health.

See, I'm certain Manny can take a punch but I'm not so sure he believes it or his opponents will either.

2009 is the correct year for this kinds of thread

154lbs is TOO BIG for a small fighter like Pacquiao who was fighting at 112lbs when he was already 20 years old.

i dont think Manny took punishment in that last fight vs Marquez. He was winning the fight and got caught cleanly with marquez new found suspect power and then got caught with a vicious counter right. When was the last time manny took punishment? Vs a 165lb Margarito?

If Duran can recover from Hearns so can Manny.
