Is HBO vs. Showtime becoming the new GBP vs. Top Rank

it's bad enough you've got fighters and their managers who prevent fights from being made.... but now you have promotional companies unwilling to work together and on top of that TV networks are now causing major roadblocks....

and then they have nerve to ask what's wrong with boxing...

i will post what I posted earlier...

lol no it is not, look at the shows showtime put on? the vast majority are one sided beatdown for gods sake....

hbo have the 175s, 168s and the 160s

on top of that they have 2 very exciting ww showdowns coming up, there is a reason, hbo dropped gb on their ass dude, those guys were milking them with poor shows

remember a little while ago everyone was on hbos nuts when rios fought alv and bradley fought pov

hbo also just had froch vs kessler which was incredible, rigo vs donaire as well remember

hbo is still the a game by far, the problem is the ring keeps making guy seem better, who the heck do showtime hav at 147? only guy is floyd,n the rest alexander, khan, maidana, broner, berto and ortiz are b/c level hype jobs

as I said before, you have already seen it, richard, the slimeball from gb has begged hbo to put his fighters back on their network starting with hopkins and I am sure he has done more but they have told them to straight up p off...

don't worry dude, consider fight periods to be 4 out of the year, out of those 4 periods, hbo will deliver on 3, they will start getting more again soon when gb fighters jump ship and they will do so soon

Yet despite the promotional and network feuds we've had a GREAT 1st half to 2013. It may not last long-term but we've gotten some greats fights already and should continue to get great fights on both HBO and Showtime for at least a couple years.
