It prevents you from looking at things objectively. I'm not saying Golovkin is a bum because obviously he's skilled, and he beats most guys from 154-168. He cuts off the ring well and has power, but he's not very quick and he's predictable. Mayweather is just way too fast, skilled, and intelligent. UD 8-4.

Ward also dominates Golovkin. KO 7.

So Floyd fights Canelo at a PU55Y ass catchweight but he would fight GGG at 154??? GTFOH.

Like I said in my original post, I know Golovkin has skill. But I just feel Mayweather's skill is too much for him. And the disparity in skill won't be canceled out by Golovkin's size.

Ahh the irony. Didn't Leonard "go up to light heavyweight" on a catchweight arrangement? Maybe I've got that wrong, but I remember something about him contesting the 168 and 175lbs title in the same fight. Perhaps someone can clear that up.

I'm not making excuses for anyone. Just saying that "skills pays the bills" has it's limits as does any fighter in boxing.

If the people who accuse Floyd of ducking GGG made a thread saying so, it would be filled with rational people saying, "It's a middleweight and a welterweight." Why are people on this site so quick to descend into name calling when someone makes a point they either can't see or don't agree with?

The juvenile rants don't work with me. I just want to see where exactly you draw the line. Are there any other welterweights you think could meet GGG at 154lbs?
