Scott Quigg made an impressive debut under the Matchroom banner with a third round stoppage victory over William Prado in Bolton.

Quigg had not been active since beating Rendall Munroe last year but a change of promoter means the 25-year-old is back on the world title trail.

The Bury ****er is poised to fight for the WBA super-bantamweight title later this year and he looked razor sharp against the Brazilian Prado, who came to fight.

Prado began with aggressive intent while Quigg took three minutes to size up his opponent behind a sharp jab.

Has Quigg ever fought outside of the north of England? Rigo Would batter him 100%. I had a lot of respect for Scott, but he's been mis managed.

So another short notice bum fight for a Hearn fighter. I get that he's trying to build hype for his guys but there is no reason that he cant wait a while and get a decent opponent who has time for a proper training camp.

Still waiting on Groves to step up a level tbh
