Sergio will take the fight to demolish a hype train.

Yeah, but it's highly unlikely he'll get Canelo/Mayweather next. I'm not confident it'll happen in his return fight (and he probably shouldn't), but I think it'll happen next year. When an undeniable #1 challenger pop ups, fights tends to happen. Recently it happened with Canelo/trout, Chavez/Martinez, Donaire/Rigo, and I still think it'll happen with Garcia/Matthysse. People were screaming duck as if were never going to happen, and they did. Calm the hell down, people.

Good performance by Golovkin but it was one round too long. Should have finished in DosRounds!

Duck isnt the right word. He was basically forced out of zbik by hbo. Pirog didnt want to leave his country for the fight.

Martinez hasnt ducked before. But he might now lol.

You must be really dumb, Pirog was never Sergio's mandatory. Martinez was stripped of his WBO belt within a week's notice for holding divisional (154 & 160) belts simultaneously. HBO wasn't willing to purchase the Zbik fight and pushed Dzinziruk on him because they considered it a more competitive fight (under the table, they also wanted Chavez to fight Zbik for the WBC belt).

Someone already explained why you're an idiot, but I thought I just go ahead and say it again...you're an idiot.

As much as I like Martinez, I kind of hope he ducks GGG. Unless he pulls off a spectacular performance against his next opponent, I really doubt he has it in him to give GGG almost any problems at all.

Martinez would have to fight him if he can't get bigger names in the ring, and when he does fight GGG it would be to pass his throne legitimately to GGG and then retire beckons.

Martinez had not fully recover from his knee injury in his last fight and didn't look good, but he can KO Golovkin. Meanwhile, GGG could take at least some of the risks Martinez took the last few years and fight some dangerous opponents, say Chavez Jr.

Martinez would be ****** to return to the ring fighting GGG after the injuries, his last performance and the long lay-off...he should fight Cotto and look of what his body is still capable of and after he should retire or if he looked great fight Golovkin!
