Stevens has an August fight lined up and he's definitely not an HBO-caliber fighter.

Honestly, GGG will be lucky to get a fight next. Fighters are gonna want to get paid more than they are actually worth to step in the ring.

I like GGG but I can see this quickly becoming a Mayweather / Pac situation where the fans of the the fighter acutally make you want to see him lose so they'll stop acting like teenage groupies!

He's a great fighter, unfortunately he'll probably have to continue moving up from his natural weight class to get some decent opponents and better paydays. I think Ward would be interested in the fight after a tuneup.

Well rosado wasnt an HBO caliber fighter either but he talked himself into that fight. In a perfect world we would have GGG/Kid chocolate in the barclays at the end of the summer...****** politics!

HBO won't approve Stevens, Mora or Rubio, they already turned them down.

All fights at 160 would be non-competitive. He needs to move up.

Yes. Murray in England in September would be okay, and then the winner of Geale-Barker in December on HBO.

GGG's a bit small even for a middleweight. Froch and Ward are much bigger men.

He should clean out 160: fight the winner of Barker-Geale, Chavez, Martinez, Quillan.

GGG is not with Top Rank so (theoretically at least) he could fight Quillan on Showtime.

You're right that Rosado wasn't, but he had positive momentum going in. He was in line for an IBF title shot after three decent wins, and since nobody wanted to fight 3G, Rosado stepped up and took the offer. I expect 3G to be a main-event fighter now, so HBO are gonna be much more picky than they were before. Stevens won't be able to talk himself into position, he'll have to earn it. Murray/Geale/Barker, one of them has to be his next HBO opponent. Off of HBO, I see Rubio/Adama/Mora as being good options.
