Difference between GGG and Broner is

GGG: great amateur cred, Worked his way up, has earned everything, Doesnt run his mouth, willing to fight anybody,,

Broner: decent amateur, Al haymon hooked him up, 3-division champ but has only one decent win vs demarco, failed to make weight, talks alot of garbage and is basically a classless individual, Flushes money down the drain to act like he a big shot but his momma still living in the ****** of cincinnati, hangs from floyds nuts,

Everything he does outside the ring I can care less about, in the Ring yea Broner has been given a couple of gifts but his 2 best wins are better then any win, including if Golovkin wins tonights wins. The fact that they’re comparable resume wise has m baffled on why GGG is so loved.

GGG is highly regarded because he has an amazing amateur record and KOs pretty much everyone he has fought in the pros.
You can't possibly believe that, can you? I'm too lazy to pull up any hard evidence, but if I recall correctly, he took the Ishida fight just DAYS after beating Rosado - meaning GGG's team didn't even attempt to negotiate with anyone else, let alone get turned down or be "avoided."

At this very moment, GGG and Broner aren't too different, based on in-ring performances. GGG has fought mostly marginal competition (best win being maybe Proksa, maybe Rosado?) and Broner has performed the best against similar opposition (maybe DeMarco being his best clear, convincing win). The couple times Broner has stepped to the plate in recent times, he's performed quite poorly, arguably losing against PDL and Paulie. That being said, I think we'll get a much better picture after tonight.

Out of ring, GGG is obviously far more likeable, probably one of the most likeable guys in the sport; Broner's story is the complete opposite to any competent, sensible fan (which I admit, are far and few between).

And again, I’ll say it, that pillow puncher is a better fighter than anyone GGG has fought.

A non fanboy with a great response. I agree with everything you said. These fanboys keeps saying GGG will fight anyone from 154 to 168 yet he wanted Edwin Rodriguez to drop to 160 for that fight, and when Edwin said n lets do it at 168 that was the end of that possible fight. Yet every time I bring this up, none of his fans respond to it

Yes but you are asking why broner hated and GGG has all the hype,

I just told you and broke it down...

People like GGG hence the hype

People dont like Broner hence the hate....

I will agree that broner has faced better opposition but he looked horrible vs ponce, and paulie

If he was elite he would do to pauli what Garcia did to juanma

And I agree Broner to me is hype as well, but to be the number 2 most hyped fighter on these forums that almost everyone loves you would think he best win would be better then Proska, right?

Broners been fighting midgets. It's like Golovkin fighting at 140.

Just remind all the GGG fanboys who think I am a Broner fan, I think Broner won’t make it out of this year with out being knocked out but if people hate on Broner and question his comp then what the hell is GGG getting all this love for?
Golovkin passes the eye test to this point. He's been ducked by the best competition, so his resume isn't entirely his fault. This is the best fighter he's fought yet, we'll see how he does. Maybe he'll fall flat and prove to be a hypejob.
