Weighing up the options here to buy MGM closed circuit for $100 or bite the bullet and get ****d buying an actual ticket for the fight?
Flying over from Perth, Australia especially for the fight
If you're from Australia and are going to go all the way to Vegas for a fight you might as well bite the bullet and pay to get into the arena and watch the fight live and in person.

Flying all that way to watch the fight on a tv screen is idiotic on so many levels. You are going to waste good money on flights, hotels, food and booze to watch on a tv screen? It makes no sense at all.

Stay home and watch it in the comfort of your own home or in a bar with friends. Spend the money on a fight you can actually attend live or on an entirely different vacation.

I managed to get a ticket to the live fight, cost me $600. If I couldn't get one I would be staying here and going out to a bar to watch it.

Paying to watch closed circuit is one thing, paying to watch closed circuit AND traveling for it? Really dumb.

        Brian,

If you're coming Stateside for a holiday & going to spend a couple of weeks here then fair enough, watch it somewhere else on the strip if you don't want to shell out a grand on a ticket.

If you're coming over JUST for the fight then you have to go to the fight. No ifs or buts. You might as well stay home otherwise.

If you are making a holiday out of it I'd suggest driving a loop Vegas-Tahoe-San Fran-LA-San Diego-Vegas. make sure you see Yosemite & drive the Big Sur.

Send me a PM if you want some details. I'm a Pommy wanker but had plenty of Aussie mates staying with me when I lived in Cali.
