    manny since the ped allegations

Me and a friend was debating the ancient Floyd vs manny fight and the convo led to the ped allegations and he asked me since Manny has agreed to the testing has he been the same fighter (basically insinuating since he got off the drugs has he been the same fighter) now this made me think about the fierce Manny who would throw 1200-1300 punches per fight who would ko anybody vs a Manny who now is a little older throw maybe 600-700 punches who hasn't had a ko quite a while, is it his age or if he was on the drugs and now he's off, could this b some sort of evidence? Or is it the distractions and his love for the sport +his age is the common factors for his recent performances

no distractions. he got exposed. one reason that he was throwing all those punches is because the guys he was fighting were not at their best drained

You need to understand, his style is not made for longevity and preservation. Hatton used to throw tons of punches and then slowed over time, even stylists like Sugar Ray Leonard who threw blizzards of punches could not in his last 2-3 fights. Camacho was also a blizzard till he started to age. Even Roy Jones was a dynamo till he got older. No one can keep up that pace forever. The human body is not build to. Think about it, Pac is a middle-aged man.

Stationary targets are what made him look so great. When he went back to fighting the little guys again he went back to being the old Pacquiao.

Pacquiao performance constantly fluctuated throughout his career.

Fans of boxing refuse to believe in mortality. Fact is, the body ages, you get slower, your punch resistance goes down, and your just not what you were in your 20s... The fact that Pacquiao had done a lot in his 20s did help allow him to take his style into his early 30s with great results. But nothing that is great lasts forever. It had to come down eventually, and it did. Pacquiao in his 20s would of probably not gotten so careless to leave his hands down and walk right into a clean punch from Marquez in the 6th rd...
