Comments Thread For: Mike Tyson Becomes Promoter, Joins Rivalta and Jonas

Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is now the latest boxer to join the promotional ranks. Tyson has partnered up with promoters Henry Rivalta and Gary Jonas to form "Iron Mike Productions." Rivalta and Jonas started their Florida based promotional company, Acquinity Sports, two years ago - and the company will officially change the brand to Iron Man Productions.

Tyson held his last fight in June of 2005, losing to Kevin McBride. He went through a string of financial problems, but recently found a lot of success with his "Undisputed Truth" one-man show.

Wow. Wish you luck Mike Tyson and hopefully Iron Mike Productions can bring the Heavyweight Division back to America and maybe sign a few foreign Heavyweights like Bermane Stiverne Hughie Fury or even Anthony Joshua. Remember to keep Don King at a distance and watch out for them pansies Haymon and GBP. Will Hughie Furys more famous cousin want to team up with his namesake? Going to be interesting

That name is **** in the boxing world.. Hughie seems to be alright but the other guy really made me have disdain for that name.

This seems like a good combo that could work. Acquinity's talent keeps growing ,they were slowly making a name for themselves and now they teamed up with Iron Mike. Best of luck to everyone involved.

Good for him. He doesn't belong on the stage he's not a actor. Boxing is what he knows and what he should be involved in.

There should always be a place in boxing for Mike.
